A Thousand Cranes

The Japanese earthquake and tsunami of 2011 caused horror and anguish across the world, at the loss of life and devastation. In the wake of the disaster, Scottish writers came together to produce an anthology of stories and poetry influenced by Japan, in aid of the Japanese Red Cross.

Featuring brilliant writers such as Raymond Soltysek, Kirsty Logan, Andrea Mullaney, Helen Sedgwick, J David Simons, Alex Cox, Ewan Gault, Alan Gillespie, JL Williams, Fiona Thackeray, and more.

This book now has a foreword by the First Minister, Alex Salmond, and was a highlight of the recent Margins Festival in Glasgow, featured in the Scottish Review of Books.

Available from Cargo Publishing.
